Prentis Bannerman, founder of Prodigy Movement Inc., is a visionary leader driven by innovation and purpose; as the father of three hardworking sons who serve in the medical field, he instilled discipline, compassion, and a relentless work ethic that shaped both his family and his company. Under his guidance, Prodigy Movement has pursued cutting-edge solutions that blend human-centered design with practical impact, reflecting Prentis’s belief that technology should empower people and communities. His leadership style is hands-on and values-driven, emphasizing mentorship, continuous learning, and ethical responsibility, while his pride in his sons’ dedication to healthcare underscores a personal commitment to service and healing that echoes through the organization’s mission.

Andrea Benton proudly serves as the First Lady of Lees Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Maple Hill, NC, alongside her husband, Pastor Derrick Benton Sr. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she cherishes time with her children—Taikeya, Bre’Ana, and Derrick Jr.—and her four adored grandchildren: D’Moni, D’Layah, D’Mayah, and Carter. Professionally, Andrea works with New Hanover County Health and Human Services as the Assistant Deputy Registrar. She is passionate about community outreach and finds joy in serving both youth and the elderly. At her church, she is actively involved as a member of the youth choir and a youth Sunday School teacher. Andrea is a graduate of Pender High School in Burgaw, NC, Class of 1991. In her free time, she enjoys shopping, traveling, and making lasting memories with her grandchildren. Her heart for service and deep commitment to others make her an asset to any organization she serves.

Ricky Lee

Ricky Lee Jr., the Treasurer of Prodigy Inc., has a rich background. Born in Kinston, North Carolina, and raised in the charming town of Maple Hill, North Carolina, Ricky is a 38-year-old Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with over a decade of experience. He is the eldest of three siblings and is engaged to one of the most remarkable men in the world, Javan C.

Ricky finds immense joy in helping others. Before all else, he is a Christian, and God is the guiding light in his life. He is a member of Lees Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. He finds peace in serving others, whether it’s providing a listening ear or offering a shoulder to cry on. Ricky believes that anything shared in confidence should remain private.

As the Treasurer of Prodigy Movement Inc., Ricky is committed to serving the organization in any capacity he can. He is dedicated to Prodigy’s mission to enhance and save our youth.

April Harris

April Harris is a dedicated wife, mother, and professional with a strong background in service. She's a small business owner of her salon suite, where she is a master hair stylist. She brings valuable insight and a heart for service to her role as the board of event coordinator.

With a passion for uplifting and empowering the next generation, April is committed to creating opportunities for youth to grow, thrive, and realize their full potential. Her purpose in being part of this organization stems from a deep belief that every young person deserves access to guidance, support, and positive role models—especially during their most formative years.

April’s work with the nonprofit reflects her core values of service, integrity, and community. She is proud to contribute her time and talents to helping the organization expand its reach and impact among the youth it serves.

Now based in Washington, D.C., she serves as a communications strategist, community organizer, author, and speaker, bringing a passion for storytelling and advocacy to every space she enters.
